The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Beaumont Hospital ranks consistently among the top Orthopaedic departments in the United States. It includes over 40 specialists and sub-specialists, all board-certified, and encompassing every field of Orthopaedics. The department includes a fully accredited residency program with 20 residents (4 per year for 5 years), approved fellowship programs in Spine, Joint Reconstruction, and Sports Medicine, and extensive research facilities.

Beaumont, Royal Oak's new South Tower Hospital is an orthopaedic hospital within a full service hospital campus featuring an orthopaedic unit with a dedicated physical therapy and rehabilitation unit. The orthopaedic operating area consists of 16 state-of-the-art suites dedicated solely to orthopaedic technology and patient safety. The Beaumont Orthopaedic Center, dedicated to outpatient care, is located in Suite #742 in the adjacent Medical Office Building.

The entire orthopaedic team including nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, surgical technicians, research personnel, administrative personnel and orthopaedic outpatient staff are dedicated to providing a compassionate and caring experience for all our orthopaedic patients.

Beaumont is ranked among the top orthopaedic centers in the United States for the evaluation and management of primary and complex orthopaedic conditions in both the adult and pediatric patients.
