Michael Bischoff, M.D., Director, Vein Center, Beaumont Hospital, Troy
Dr. Bischoff is a board–certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist at Beaumont Health System and founder and director of the Beaumont Vein Center in Sterling Heights, Michigan. A Michigan native, Dr. Bischoff grew up in southeast Michigan and attended University of Michigan and later Wayne State University where he graduated with honors with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Engineering. He then attended and graduated from Wayne State Medical School with honors.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Bischoff completed his radiology residency at Beaumont Hospital and completed a fellowship in interventional radiology.
As a result of his training and practice as a radiologist and interventional radiologist, he has over 20 years of experience performing and interpreting ultrasounds and ultrasound–guided procedures. He has special interest in vascular ultrasound and hasperformed thousands of ultrasound–guided procedures, primarily ultrasound-guided venous access procedures.
Dr. Bischoff established the Beaumont Vein Center in Sterling Heights, Michigan, located across from Beaumont Hospital, Troy, in January 2011. The center exclusively diagnoses and treats patients with venous problems, particularly those with varicose veins and the associated symptoms and cosmetic concerns. He is one of the few physicians in southeastern Michigan dedicated exclusively full-time to the practice of venous insufficiency. At the Beaumont Vein Center, patients benefit from his experience in performing all of the latest treatments for varicose veins, spider veins andvenous insufficiency, including saphenous ablation, perforating vein ablation, microphlebectomy, ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and spider vein treatments such as microsclerotherapy, dermal skin laser and veinwave.
